Contains 21 drawings and 3 family photos. The drawings by Rachel Beebe Sutton (Margaret Sutton) include three watercolors submitted for Melissa of Dry Brook Hollow (later published as the first Judy Bolton mystery, The Vanishing Shadow) as well as pen and ink drawings intended for the Magic Makers and some lovely childhood drawings. A heartwarming story from Margaret’s autobiography and a poem about her favorite things are included. The cover is a recently discovered pencil sketch of Melissa on the runaway colt with the dam in the distance—just beautiful!
